GM Cadillac Converj produce electric

 
  Ever since GM unveiled the Cadillac Converj at North American Auto Show 2009, there have been many conflicting rumors about plans for this concept car. Latest information from the GM confirmed that there will be a production reality, but called Cadillac ELR.
"This concept car was immediately attracted much attention," said Don Butler, vice president of Cadillac, said. "As the car carrying another milestone of Cadillac past, ELR will have a different style of the current car - a combination of electric motor design with innovative style and performance of the car luxury coupe. "

Cadillac ELR will be equipped with electric motor systems such as the Chevy Volt, using lithium-ion battery pack T, and a 4-cylinder engine which acts as a generator.

Like the Volt, ELR electric car is essential, with only the gasoline engine when the battery is depleted.

ELR GM said the car is still in the development process, information specific specifications will be announced in the near future.

GM announced production of ELR Coupe car only a short time after the Cadillac confirm plans for new XTS luxury sedans and small sport sedan will compete ATS BMW 3-Series.
